D-J-Qualls

Donald Joseph Qualls - better popularly known as DJ Qualls - is a model, actor, and producer from America. Shooting to fame for his work on Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. In addition, he has appeared in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs, Lost Law & Order as well as numerous others. Qualls, who was diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is a tough fighter. Within two years the cancer went into the stage of remission. Treatment at a young stage had a negative effect on his body. This impeded his growth. When he started acting, financial security was his goal. He'd experienced hardship in his early years. He stated, "I've been living so in a state of financial sanity for so long that I need to have financial security, otherwise my life can seem out of control and that's not good for me." He also reminisces about his youth to inspire him. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. He claims that his dream job would be that of father figures in reality and in film. However, he acknowledges that directors don't have me as a character. One day he'd like to have a child of his own in the future, when he could be able to spend more time to his work and more to his child.
